[36] The Greatest Commission


Verses
Mark 16:15-18
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. 17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.


Acts 8:26-40
And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert. 27 And he arose and went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship, 28 Was returning, and sitting in his chariot read Esaias the prophet. 29 Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot. 30 And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest? 31 And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him. 32 The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth: 33 In his humiliation his judgment was taken away: and who shall declare his generation? for his life is taken from the earth. 34 And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himself, or of some other man? 35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus. 36 And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized? 37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. 38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him. 39 And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing. 40 But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea.




Message
Jesus didn't say let the world come to you; He said go into the world. Take your talents, gifts and everything you have been blessed with into the world. Why? Because the devil is in the world. The devil is destroying lives in the world, and He won't let them come to you. It takes the Spirit of God to bring us together (people in bondage and children of God). But what's the point in bringing them to a neutral meeting place if we aren't going to be there.


The world is in chaos because we aren't going into it. We are comfortable where we are, not knowing that we are becoming lukewarm. Not realizing that we are carnal. We think because we have spiritual gifts, then it means we are spiritually minded. Truth is, as long as you are judging and condemning people in bondage to Satan you are carnally minded and in need of Salvation. The great commission is bigger than clubs, groups, denominations and societies; it's about the world. If with everything we have and do, people are still in bondage to sin and Satan, then we need to ask ourselves if we are doing exactly what God wants us to do.


Let the focus be on the world and not groups, clubs and so on. Let the focus be on what Jesus wants for them. It's time to walk by faith to do things "eye has not seen, nor ear heard." It's time to redefine our commission.


If you want to mature in your gifts; if you want to do things beyond your imagination, if you want to experience God's power like never before, go into the world. Learn from Jesus and Paul. Paul for example didn't focus on only the Jews or being in Israel, he took everything he had into the world and for that, God gave Him an abundance of revelations. If you want more, focus on the lost and the perishing. Let God's Love fill your heart, and ask Him what you can do that no human being has done before. Ask for a unique purpose, ask for the impossible and go out to destroy the works of Satan.

[13] Whose house (Part two)

Verses 1 Corinthians 3:16-17 16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? 17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are. Like Jesus

Verse John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. Message Jesus said, "He that believeth on me, the works that i do shall he do also." Pause! How on earth are we going to do His mighty works, if we do not have the same resources He had? Actually we do. Jesus made the final provision or resource available to all of us on the day of Pentecost. On that day, He sent the Holy Ghost. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. ( Acts 1:8 ) We have all been given a ministry of reconciliation. A ministry that is birthed after the born again experience. This is confirmed in 2 Corinthians 5:17-20,  " Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away;
