Good Friday

One man died and descended to hell, with the purpose of disarming and defeating the powers that kept the human race in bondage to sin. He fought for and helped us to gain our independence, yet many human beings are still being whipped and controlled by our former colonial masters because, they don't know what Good Friday is all about. It's sad right? Happy Good Friday to you :) "I guess we all know who won this fight..."

[32] Resist the devil...

Verse James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Message Question one: How do we submit ourselves to God? Answer: Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. When we submit ourselves to God it is no longer we who think, act, speak and so forth; Christ lives in us and He does it all. This is why the demon in Acts 19:15 could say "Jesus I know, Paul I know". Galatians 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. Message We (born-again believers) were once sin. Jesus became sin for us and crucified sin on the cross. We (the real us) were crucified-we died with Him-and when Christ rose up, He rose up with us. He rose up and gave us the same Spirit that rose Him up form the grave-everlasting life. 11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. (Romans 8:11) That's the Spirit we are born again with (1 Peter 1:23). We are born again with the Word of God, the creator of the universe. That's the new Spirit we recei...
