Verses Matthew 22:14 14 For many are called, but few are chosen. Job 33:14-18 14 For God speaketh once,yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not. 15 In a dream, in a vision of the night,when deep sleep falleth upon men,in slumberings upon the bed; 16 Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction,17 That he may withdraw man from his purpose,and hide pride from man. 18 He keepeth back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword. Message What does or did Jesus mean by 'many are called,  but few are chosen' ?  Was He trying to tell us that some people have already been condemned; or that some people shouldn't waste their time getting saved? NO! Matthew 6:24 24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. Message Our power as Children of God  comes from the Holy Ghost; the world on the other hand who don't have the Holy Ghost have Mammon as their power source. We as children of God, can't have the fullness of God or experience His ultimate power if we yearn for Mammon's power. We can't serve the two.
